about

Hi! I'm Isaac.

I'm currently an FXTD at BYU animation. I've contributed to projects that won the "Student Emmy," "Student Oscar,"
Rookies 3D animated film of the year, and one that was nominated for a VES award.
I also worked as a junior compositor for a year on BYUTV projects including the show Studio C,
and for a few months as a virtual production intern for DNEG in London.

I love VFX and animation not just for the storytelling and worldbuilding,
but also for the creative problem solving required throughout the whole pipeline.

In April I'll graduate with two degrees--one in Computer Graphics, and another in Data Science. The line between the two has grown increasingly blurred over the last decade, and I'm excited to see how data used intelligently will change the future of film.

In my limited free time, I enjoy rock climbing, reading, and playing the guitar.
